Like many other trends, I was a bit reluctant about bomber jackets. It looked at best too rough and manly, and at worst like something Will Smith use to wear as the fresh prince. However, like in almost any other case, it very much depends on how and what you wear it with – there are many versions of the bomber jacket, and a lot of options to style it. I’ve seen a few bloggers that gave different interpretations to this trend, but the one I loved the most was the lovely Elle Frost, who even gave a few options of her own and this look was my personal favorite.
Personally, wearing a bomber is a double challenge, because I have a relatively wide upper body, so wearing a puffy jacket with a masculine shape might create a “lolly-pop” silhouette – yummy, but not so flattering. This is one reason why I chose this particular jacket which has a more fitted shape and is also a bit shorter, so it doesn’t hide the waist line. The floral print is another spring/summer fun trend and it gives another feminine touch. It’s important to emphasize – I have nothing against masculine/androgynous looks, the opposite is true, I just don’t particularly like it on myself for the aforementioned reasons.
In addition, I think this look gives a fun idea on how to add some color to a look based on a simple black dress – colorful accessories and a cool bomber and you’re good to go. And the icing on the cake – an owl!

כמו עם טרנדים רבים אחרים, גם מטרנד ה-bomber jacket (או בתרגום חופשי “מעיל טייסים”) הסתייגתי בתחילה. הוא היה נראה לי במקרה הטוב גברי וגס מדי, ובמקרה הרע כמו משהו שוויל סמית היה לובש בנסיך המדליק מבל אייר. אבל, כמו בכל מקרה אחר כמעט, זה מאוד תלוי מה ואיך לובשים – יש המון גרסאות למעיל הטייסים, ויש המון אופציות לסגנן אותו. ראיתי כמה בלוגריות שנתנו פרשנויות שונות למראה, אבל זו שמצאה חן בעיניי במיוחד הייתה אל פרוסט המהממת, שגם בתוך הבלוג שלה נתנה כמה אופציות, אך המראה הזה היה אהוב עליי במיוחד.
עבורי, ללבוש מעיל טייסים מהווה אתגר כפול, משום שפלג הגוף העליון שלי רחב יחסית ולכן ללבוש ז’קט נפוח בגזרה גברית עלול ליצור מראה של “סוכריה על מקל” – טעים, אבל לא מחמיא. לכן בחרתי את הז’קט הנ”ל, בעל גזרה קרובה לגוף וקצרה יחסית שמדגישה את המותניים. ההדפס הפרחוני על הז’קט משלב עוד טרנד כיפי של עונת האביב/קיץ ונותן עוד טאץ’ נשי לז’קט הגברי. חשוב לי להדגיש – אין לי שום דבר נגד מראה גברי/אנדרוגיני, להיפך, זה יכול להיות סופר שיק, אני פשוט פחות אוהבת אותו על עצמי מהסיבות שצוינו לעיל.
בנוסף לכל, המראה הזה הוא גם דרך נהדרת להוסיף צבעוניות ועניין לשמלה שחורה פשוטה – עם אקססוריז צבעוניים וז’קט מגניב, המראה שודרג מבייסיק למשהו מעניין שעושה שמח בעיניים. והדובדבן שבקצפת – ינשוף!
