I’ve just discovered the boyfriend jeans at the end of this winter, and instantly fell in love. First of all, they have that effortless chic look of waking up in your boyfriend’s house and wearing his clothes, and still looking sexy and feminine while doing so. Secondly, they are so comfortable! it almost feels like wearing a pair of sweat pants. The challenge in styling boyfriend jeans lies in the first reason I like them so much – keeping it chic and not actually looking like your boyfriend (as much as you love him). There is always the option of going for a tomboy look with a loose t-shirt and sneakers, but I think this look falls from grace after you’ve passed the age of 20 or so; In other words, it’s more fitting for young girls and less for young women, in my humble opinion although anything’s possible.
So, what are the options? I like to balance the masculine look of the boyfriend jeans with feminine touches. I’ve seen many bloggers wear them with strap high-heels, an elegant blouse and a cute clutch and that’s totally cool, but being as committed to wearing flats as I am ;), I wanted to give you an alternative. I went for bright colors , which are more affiliated with feminine looks in my opinion; I chose red and green, which are lovely colors for spring and summer, as well as being each other’s complementary colors. As mentioned, I opted for flat sandals with a very delicate red and black design (another recent purchase from Shoofuni), their front part which is a bit pointy gives the foot a sexy elongated look even without heels. Yay! Finally, I added a chunky necklace for a final elegant touch.

את הבויפרנד ג’ינס גיליתי רק בחורף האחרון, ומיד התאהבתי. קודם כל, כי הם מעניקים ללובשת מראה לא מתאמץ של “התעוררתי בבית של החבר ולבשתי את הבגדים שלו”, שמצליח להיות גם מראה סקסי ונשי בעת ובעונה אחת. הסיבה השנייה היא שהם כל כך נוחים! זה כמעט כמו ללבוש טריינינג. האתגר בסטיילינג של ג’ינס כאלה נעוץ בסיבה הראשונה שאני כל כך אוהבת אותם – להצליח במראה מהודק ומתוחכם ולא באמת להיראות כמו החבר שלך (כבודו במקומו מונח). תמיד קיימת האפשרות ללכת על מראה הטום-בוי עם סניקרס וחולצת טי מגניבה, אבל לדעתי זה מראה פחות חינני אחרי גיל מסוים, ובמילים אחרות מראה שיותר מתאים לנערה ופחות לאישה, למרות שכמובן הכל אפשרי.
אז מהן האופציות בעיניי? אני אוהבת לאזן את המראה הגברי של הבויפרנד עם מוטיבים נשיים. ראיתי כמה וכמה בלוגריות שלובשות אותם עם סנדלי עקב, חולצה אלגנטית וקלאץ’ חמוד שזה סבבה לגמרי, אבל בשל המחויבות העמוקה שלי לנעליים שטוחות ;) , רציתי לספק לכן אלטרנטיבה. בחרתי בצבעים בולטים וחזקים, שיותר מאפיינים מראה נשי בעיניי; הלכתי על אדום וירוק, שהם צבעים מקסימים לעונת האביב, כמו-כן הם צבעים משלימים ולכן משתלבים נהדר ביחד. כפי שציינתי, בחרתי בסנדלים שטוחים בצבעי אדום שחור ועיצוב עדין (רכישה נוספת משופוני האחרון), החלק הקדמי שלהם מעט מחודד ולכן מעניק לכף הרגל מראה מוארך וסקסי ללא הצורך בעקב גבוה. לבסוף, הוספתי שרשרת עבה מזמש וזהב בשביל טאץ’ אלגנטי אחרון.
